PNP Schools and Equitable Services Required Notification
Queen City High School is thrilled to announce that Chauncett Miles has been selected as a Terry Scholar at the University of Texas at Arlington. The Terry Foundation Scholarship will provide full tuition and beyond at an estimated value of $120,000. Only 30 freshmen students who will be attending UTA in the fall were selected as Terry Scholars. We are extremely proud of Chauncett for being selected for this award based on academic achievement and demonstrated leadership. Congratulations Chauncett!
Congratulations to Sadie Dodd and Laekin Campbell on their success at the Cass County Cattleman’s Association Cattle Show this morning! Sadie won 2nd in her class and earned the 3rd spot in the steer sale order. Laekin was the Grand Champion with her British Bull and the Overall Bull Grand Champion! She also won her class with her Registered Polled Hereford heifer and earned the Grand Champion spot in that competition as well. Great job, Ladies! The sale starts tonight at 6:30 at the Cass County Expo.
Lane Endsley was recently promoted to Coach for a day at JKH for being the top earner in this year's KIDS HEART CHALLENGE. Lane raised $669 for the American Heart Association and during his stint as Coach Endsley chose for his class to play gaga ball. Great job, Bulldog!
SCHEDULE CHANGES
The Lady Bulldog Softball game will be played at 6PM in Redwater tonight.
The Varsity Bulldog Baseball game will be played on Saturday at 7PM in Queen City.
The MUMS Symphonic band traveled to Pleasant Grove last week to perform at the Region IV UIL Concert and Sight-reading Evaluation. They were awarded unanimous, "superior" ratings, earning them the coveted UIL Sweepstakes award. Great job, Bulldogs!
These One Act Play kids just showed out at Bi-District! Great job, Bulldogs! Results should be posted later tonight.

It's almost time for the Spring Book Fair!
The QCHS Floriculture team traveled to Daingerfield over Winter Break to compete in an invitational contest where they placed 5th overall. Payton Boone was the 4th high point individual out of 41 contestants! Great job, Ladies!
The QCHS Trailer Team brought home another BLUE RIBBON over Winter Break! The San Antonio Ag Mech Show had 797 projects, 272 schools, and 1,675 exhibitors. Great job, Bulldogs!

Congratulations to QCHS junior Micah Whittington for placing 5th in his Lewis Class at the San Antonio Jr. Shootout. Micah won a belt buckle, a gun case, a $100 gift card, and 5 flats of ammunition. Great job, Bulldog!
MUMS students used the Super Bowl to practice prediction last week in the library. Mrs. Childress' class was awarded valentine's candy for their winning prediction, and Lucas McCasland won a Sonic gift card for his! Great job, Bulldogs!

The QCHS UIL teams traveled to Hallsville, TX on Saturday, Feb 11th. Students competed in General Math, Number Sense, Calculator, Computer Science, Science, Spelling, Current Events, and Literary Criticism.
Anthony Castleberry placed 2nd 🥈 in Spelling. Brayden Attaway placed 5th in Spelling. The team of two also placed 2nd as a team in Spelling.
Harley Smith, Ian Taylor, Xavior Allison, and Kanyon Compton competed in computer science and placed 3rd as a team.
