Queen City ISD is excited to share that the first group of teachers earning designations through our Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) system will be announced soon!
Approved by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) last year, our locally developed system is designed to recognize and reward the incredible impact our teachers make in the classroom every single day—and now, we’re seeing that work come to life.
Here’s what makes QCISD’s TIA system stand out:
* 47% of eligible QCISD educators earned designations
* 100% of TIA funds go directly to teachers through our local plan
* Our students benefit from high-quality, highly effective instruction every day
